I'm a little slow on discovering the fascination of the Blog. I knew people were 'doing' it, I just didn't get why. I sort of still don't get why, and wonder who the heck wants to know what funny/quirky/silly/sad things I did this week, but in a way I guess it's like our love for reality shows and gossip magazines. We are curious and want to know what other people are living like. Are we similar? Or so totally different that we learn something from each other?
I have a hard enough time trying to do some creative writing every day, while playing with the twins and doing all those little things stay at home mum's do that seem to take ALL day! There's no way I could add blog posts to that, surely? Another distraction and something to become addicted to. Facebook, email, skype, twitter, could I add Blog to the list? Sheesh. I didn't think so. Until...(here comes the crazy bit) all week I've slept pretty well, like a log, they say, anyway during these long languid sleeps I've been dreaming up a storm. Yep, you guessed it about blogging. So. What happened in these dreams? I just kept getting the same message over and over, 'Start a blog,' ...'Start a blog.' Trippy, hey? Not for fame. Nor for fortune. Just because my dreams told me to do it. It was so randomly weird, I just HAD to do it. What have you been dreaming about?
